🎯 Prepare the visit rather than endure it
Three days go by fast, and a full hall of stands quickly starts to look alike. A few habits that change the day:
- Arrive with a list. Two or three decisions genuinely pending at the practice — replacing a unit, an intraoral scanner, a maintenance contract — beat ten brochures.
- Bring your figures. A quote is negotiated with real volumes in hand: annual consumption, room occupancy, age of the equipment.
- Note the serial numbers. For a technical question about equipment already in place, that is the first thing the technician will ask.
- Read the scientific programme beforehand: the sessions should shape your day, not the other way round.
🗓️ A coincidence worth noting
The fair opens on 1 October, the same day the requirement to read the identity card for third-party-payer patients comes into force. If your setup is not ready, this is the occasion to raise it directly with your software vendor on their stand.
